You guys just don't understand. If someone is knowledgable and of long experience, and writes highly technical papers on a subject, they cannot expect people to read it all. And if one doesn't understand what is presented, can you really blame them for making stuff up and/or finding an "expert" that one does understand; an "expert" that won't tax one's teeny-tiny gray cells by sending one off to do research? (It helps, as well, if one can find an "expert" whose opinions jibe with one's own.)

Of course, one still looks pathetic.
